PSSPI is ending its second year by beginning a tradition of awarding Indulgences in the form of providing grant funds to deserving organizations so that the circle is complete and we remain true to our holy vows of poverty, service and chastity. Well, maybe not the last one. Multiple grants are available and will be awarded to 3 or 4 organizations this year.  Grant funds will be awarded to select not for profit community benefit organizations which are incorporated and have IRS 501(c) (3) designation.  The requesting not for profit organization’s purpose and planned use of grant funds, if awarded, must provide benefit to the Palm Springs GLBT community, encourage the free expression of human sexual orientation, and / or help build cooperative, cordial and supportive relationships among the culturally and ethnically diverse peoples of the Coachella Valley.

The completed applications must be received by January 9, 2009.  Grant Fund Recipients will be announced on January 19, 2009 and a Grant Dispersal Party will follow at a date and place soon to be announced.
